Pastoral Care & Counseling

“Our wounds are often the openings into the best and most beautiful part of us.” ― David Richo

It takes courage to say you need help and to find someone willing to listen.

We all will face difficult times and it is in those times that we sometimes need someone to provide a safe space for us to express how we feel and to find ways to cope with what happens in our lives.

As an ordained minister who is trained in pastoral care and counseling, I can provide care and support for those who desire to seek help that is integrated with spirituality.

Services include an initial assessment, a six week care plan, referral to professional psychotherapy and/or psychiatry (if necessary), and resource support.

For more information on pricing, my qualifications, and services; please contact me. Services are provided on a sliding scale based on financial need.

DISCLAIMER: Counseling and support are considered an integral part of my ministry. However, there are times when the needs of a individual go beyond offering support and encouragement to encompass longer-term counseling and psychotherapy. This is especially important, for instance, when it is suspected that the problem may be clinical depression—a debilitating medical illness. Only a physician or mental health professional is able to diagnose clinical depression and other mental illnesses. I will refer an individual to a mental health professional (i.e. - LPC, LMFT, LCSW, Psychologist, etc.) when the individual and/or myself determines that the needs of said individual go beyond my capacity to provide sufficient treatment.
